With fiscal 2008 revenues in excess of $100 million, FirstService CRE operates 20 company-owned Colliers International offices in 13 countries in Europe, including Russia, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Romania, Serbia, Bulgaria, Albania, Montenegro and Greece. These emerging markets have seen considerable growth during the last several years and their markets continue to transition from the former centralized economies that once dominated this region.
In November 2007, FirstService CRE acquired a majority interest in the Colliers International operations in Russia and Ukraine. With offices in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Kiev, this well-established and rapidly growing operation is poised to participate in the significant expansion ahead for the Russian economy and the neighboring markets.
