FirstService is the largest North American player in residential property management, overseeing more than 3,700 residential communities from 45 offices in 18 US states. Clients include some of the most exclusive and high profile low-mid-high rise condominiums, condominium hotels, co-operatives, active adult and gated communities in the US. This division also includes the operations of American Pool Enterprises, which is the largest commercial swimming pool and recreational facility management operation in North America.

According to industry estimates, more than 59 million Americans lived in a community association in 2007, and the estimated real estate value of all homes in community associations, comprising more than 24 million units, exceeded $4 trillion, and represented approximately 20% of the residential real estate values in the United States.

FirstService administers client annual operating budgets of more than $5 billion overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of more than 900,000 residences and the living environments of more than 3 million people who call our clients` communities their home. Services include traditional management services, on-site staffing and property services, development consulting and advisory services and specialty financial products.

This responsibility creates significant opportunity for us to add value for our clients and differentiate our services from those of our competitors. It also offers us additional opportunities to increase our revenues and profits by selectively adding competitive service offerings or creating innovative bulk-buying programs to better serve our customers and enhance the value of their properties.
